One of the most awaited events in any school is its ANNUAL DAY. Vydehi School of Excellence celebrated its Annual Day 2016-17 on 7th April, 2017 with the Theme “Truth I seek.” “In the place of stillness, rises potential. From the place of potential, emerges possibility. Where there is possibility, there is choice. And where there is choice, there is Freedom.”

The Guests of Honours were Kalpaja Madam, Director, Vydehi Group of Institutions and Mr.Harjeet Kakkar- CEO, Vydehi School of Excellence. The evening began with the Lighting of the lamp, the Welcome Dance and The Principal’s Annual Report.

Every student gave their best performance and participated in this grand production with great pomp and show comprising of different dance forms like the Ribbon dance, African dance, Shadow dance, Folk dance, Mime, Dragon dance, Ballroom dance, umbrella dance, 1000 hands dance and many more.

The main highlight of the evening was the enactment of two plays. The first enactment was based on the theme ”Wheel of Dharma”, and the second enactment was a humorous play Karma, The Invisible Factor, written by Khushwant Singh.

After an overwhelming performance by the students and with much applause from the audience, the Annual Day came to an end with the Closing Ceremony dance and singing of the National Anthem – “Let’s Bring Back Peace! Let’s Stay United!” Jai Hind!
