The Vydehi School of Excellence which extols the motto that knowledge is supreme power, organised its two-day annual science fest, Khoj- a journey. The exhibition, themed, “Winding through history” brought to limelight the extraordinary talent and efforts of the Vydehi students and staff. Ranging from tea tasting in the organic farming section to displays of various textile machinery, Khoj also featured a tour around a miniature chocolate factory coupled with robotics and  mathematics. The exhibition stood a witness to the remarkable achievements of the Vydehi students.

The guests of the event were the parents who took away goodies like handmade chocolates, potted plants, paper bags and candles. Inaugurating the workshop, Ms Yolanda Gama Director at Multiple Disability Services,Inc.California appreciated the school’s efforts in creating an atmosphere which drives thirst for scientific knowledge. The parents congratulated the students on their efforts and were immersed in the exhibits which covered various topics ranging from prehistoric civilization to computers and fashion.

 Principal Mrs. Sinia Sajith, who has been the driving force behind the fest, pointed out that school philosophy of learning via experimentation and 100% student participation have been instrumental in the success of Khoj. This annual undertaking  of VSE depicts the ethos and the essence of the age that we live in. The age that believes in the triumph of human civilization.
