VSE conducted a special assembly on 24th October, 2016 on the theme, “A tribute to daughters of India” with the notion that “A daughter is the happy memory of the past, the joyful moments of the present, and the hope and promise of the future. 

The students of grade II E presented an assembly comprising of Poem, Welcome dance, and power point presentation. They tried to deliver the message that Girls can hold up half of the sky…From Jhansi Ki Rani to P V Sindhu, Indian daughters have always stood up for their rights and fought their battles despite restrictions and limitations. They are the shining beacons of hope and have displayed exemplary dedication in their respective fields. 

All found the event very thoughtful and motivational.
