The second day of V-DIGITIZE, Tech Fest organized by Vydehi School of Excellence started with a Web Design competition in the Computer Lab for grades 8 and 9. The students developed websites on Bangalore Tourism using HTML. This was a platform for the future web developers to showcase their technical and imaginative skills. The students developed some very professional looking websites. Top three websites were chosen as winners based on the look, images inserted, links and content of the websites. Avi and Chirag (Grade 9) were the winners, runners up were Hiya and Rishitha (Grade 8) and in third place were Abhayjit and Harshit (Grade 8).

The second event for the event was V-DEBATE, a debate competition for grades 8 and 9. Here the students were divided into two groups. The topic for the first group was “Is Cyberspace secure?” and the topic for the second group was “Is Hacking Ethical”. The students displayed great oratory skills and made some very relevant points for and against the topics. The top speakers of the day were Krishna (grade 8), Shivam (grade 9) and Hiya (grade 8).

The two days Tech Fest was an immensely learning experience for all the students. It was also a great platform for students to display their talent and knowledge. We are proud of this great start – a new beginning of VSE’s Tech Fest journey.
