School Special Assemblies are an integral part of the growth and orientation of the students. They play a pivotal role in the cultivation and sustenance of values; preparing the child to appropriate crucial roles in the future. The teachers work in close association with the students in order to put up a good show. The special assembly at Vydehi School of Excellence is a spectacular cultural extravaganza where in the students come together to relish in the flavor of celebration. Students of Grade 10 of Vydehi School of Excellence showcased their talent in Special Assembly at the school auditorium on 10th July, 2017. The Special assembly was based on the theme “Giving is the best communication”. The assembly began with a Prayer by class choir and followed by pledge, thought and news by the students. The assembly was followed by a melodious song by the class choir which took everyone to a different world. The students presented a wonderful skit related to the life of Dr. Prajak Arunthongs with the moral “A simple act of giving creates endless ripple that comes back to you again”. The act was so poignant that it brought tears in the eyes of the audience. The audience were mesmerised by the acting ability of the students. The speech by the Grade 10 student on the theme was heart touching and an eye opener for the audience. The Special assembly was concluded with the National anthem. The students actively and enthusiastically participated through their flawless performances and acts in the form of skit, song, speech, etc.
