A DAY AT THE ABODE OF SRI KRISHNA AT ISKON TEMPLE
Students of Grade 1E and 1G visited ISKON Temple to witness one of the festive celebration aligned to their exhibition topic- “ FESTIVALS AROUND THE WORLD”

ISKON Temple signifies Sri Krishna movement all over the world. Children could experience Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival celebrations and to recognize this great celebrity who demonstrated magnanimous thought process of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (The world is a family). At this temple children could see pictorial depiction of Lord Krishna. They also learnt some of the teachings of Sri Krishna which are more than 6000 years which is still relevant to the whole world even today. Children along with Teachers experienced feeling of oneness without any discrimination of rich, poor, caste, creed, learned or illiterate when they had food together along with other devotees demonstrating the world is one family. This would help inculcate fellow brotherhood within students and demonstrate the same during our exhibition- Festivals around the World.
