There is a great significance & importance of club activities in schools. Club activities are complementary to academic education. These activities help the students to develop literary, leadership, creative and soft skills. Keeping this in view the debate club of Vydehi School of Excellence have organized a competition for grade 7 students on 21/01/2021 & 28/01/2021 with the topic “Who is responsible to tackle Global Warming: Government or People?” There were both opinion and rebuttal rounds. All the students spoke eloquently expressing their thoughts and opinions. The session was a kaleidoscope of opinions,thoughts, ideas and perspectives that definitely enhanced the knowledge and understanding of the topic among students. Sivansh Satpathy of grade 7C bagged the first position, G. Shanmukha Siva of grade 7D came second and both Abhinav Muppuru and Ritvik Anand of grade 7D came third respectively.
