Club activities improves the creative skills of students. It also helps in growth and development of an individual. It leads to soft skills through co-curricular club activities and also develop leadership skills in students. Vydehi School of Excellence organized various competitions under Club Culmination-1, for Grade 2 on 26th August 2021.
The Computer Coding Club Competition was conducted where Children created -The table with a list of their favorite things or animated characters in MS Word. We are changing the world for our little ones by introducing “Technology” in their lives.
Storytelling is a unique human skill shared among the people far and wide. General Awareness Club competition was conducted for the students of Grade 2 and the topic was “Interesting Insects”.
Speech Weavers Club Competition was conducted Short Speech on – “Friends are source of Happiness.” The topic given made them understand the importance of friends in one’s life and hence children proved it well with amazing thoughts and ideas.
To make the students have fun with shapes, Mathematics Club Culmination was organized on the topic- “Composing Shapes”. Students actively participated and with much zeal composed beautiful figures using various shapes.
Karate Club Competition was conducted based on the theme “EMPTY HAND”. The intension of the club is to teach students to even fight without any weapons and safe guard themselves during any attack or threat initiated on them and apply it in kumite combat competitions.
“Yoga is the golden key that unlocks the door to peace, tranquility and joy.” Yoga Club Competition was conducted based on the objective to ignite the passion of fitness and improving mental health amongst the students.
Since August is the month to celebrate freedom of our Nation and to remember the real heroes of our Nation. The topic for “Indian Dance Club Competition was “JAI HIND” on which the children presented their art work in various hues with great enthusiasm and thrilled the audience.
Western Dance Club competition was conducted on the topic “Bollywood Folk Dance”. Bollywood being most fun dance form, children enjoyed dancing on the Bollywood beats. The competition was a great success.
Art & Craft Club Culmination was conducted on the topic- “Two happy bees in flower garden – Painting”. Through this competition students learnt the value of artifacts and images across cultures and times
Music Club Competition was conducted for Grade 2 on the topic “PATRIOTIC SONGS”. The spirit of patriotism is important for understanding the true value of independence. They sang the song with lots of passion and confidence.
