Primary Wing of Vydehi School of Excellence arranged Club Culmination –1 after the successful completion of 1st portion of the curriculum on 25th August 2021.
To develop student’s interpersonal skills such as conflict resolution, assertiveness, and listening to peers, Online debate club competition was organized. Students spoke their heart out with great zeal and enthusiasm on the topic “Are Computers Replacing Teachers?”.
The objective of the Math club competition was to explore the student’s imagination on colourful designs using different 2D shapes. The topic was named as “Rangometry”. The students thoroughly enjoyed and enthusiastically performed the activity.
Music is beneficial for children as it not only develops their aesthetic sense, but is also the key to creativity. The theme for grade 3 was“Indo-Western Songs” where students presented the song with feel and with their melodious voice.
Yoga helps to instill confidence and to bring learning to children on an experiential level. The students of Grade 3 presented “1Standingand 1SittingPose” with good effort and practice done in order to perform it comfortably and confidently.
Basketball develops the mental and physical strength of kids and it is a good platform to show their skills. The theme for grade 3 was“Basketball Skill Challenge” where students presented the skills with perfection with their body style.
Dance is a powerful ally for developing many of the attributes of a growing child. The theme for grade 3 topic was “Dance on Beats” where students performed an invocatory dance to the song.
Karate Club Competition for the students of Grade 3 was based on the theme “Knock Out Punch”. Students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm.
The Computer Science club has provided an outlet for students to showcase their talent by preparing different slides to conserve water in MS-PowerPoint. Through this competition students once again focused on the “Water is a priceless gift for humanity by nature”.
To boost up the competitive spirit among the students we conducted Online Quiz
Competition for Grade3 club students. The “Quiz Bee Buzz” Competition encouraged the young minds to look beyond their textual knowledge.
Athletics club, conducted Athletics Skill Challenge Competitionfor grade 3 students. Judgement criterion was based on good skill performer and body balance.
To enhancechildren’s hand eye co-ordination and build levels of manual dexterity, Art & Craft Club Culmination – 1 was organized by VSE. The topic for Grade 3 was “Funny Octopuses Paper Craft”.
