Special Assembly of 8A & 8B on 5th November 2022

“If you celebrate your differences, the world will, too. It believes exactly what you tell it—through the words you use to describe yourself, the actions you take to care for yourself, and the choices you make to express yourself.”

Vydehi School Of Excellence believes in the uniqueness of its students. Keeping this in mind the students of Grade 8 A and B have conducted a special assembly on the theme “Be unique – Share the similarities, celebrate the differences” on Saturday, the 5th November 2022.

The assembly commenced with a welcome speech and a morning prayer. The prayer was followed by the Pledge, News Bulletin and the theme-based performances.

The highlight of the Assembly was the amazing song by the choir team, the talk show and the skit based on the beauty of Differences. The talk show highlighted on the change makers and the great heroes who taught us that fitting in allows us to blend in with everyone else, but being different allows us to be ourself, to be unique and to be more creative.

The Vydehians danced to the tunes of “Don’t give up-Fight a little harder.” There were poems that were recited both in Hindi and French signifying that, in life, difference is a huge opportunity to learn and to unite. The Assembly concluded with the National Anthem.

To leave you with a quote by Swami Vivekananda:

“All differences in this world are of degree, and not of kind, because oneness is the secret of everything.”
