Grade 6th – Children’s Day Celebrations

“Childhood is the best time to learn new things, set goals and start working for them.”

November 14th is celebrated as Children’s Day every year in India. The special day is celebrated to commemorate the birth anniversary of the first Prime Minister of India Jawaharlal Nehru, born on November 14th, 1889 who was fondly called Chacha Nehru. He was very popular amongst children for his love.

We at Vydehi School of Excellence, celebrated the Children’s Day on Monday, 14th November 2022 & made the occasion a memorable one. The celebrations began with the Morning Prayer, followed by an art and craft activity, a reading program and finally a class party. The day focused on children and their enjoyment. The children have planned & organized a potluck with different delicacies as snacks & lunch. All the children were allowed to wear ethnic wear and they were all looking like colorful butterflies. The management has made the Children’s Day special by giving them a takeaway of goodies. The teachers showered voluminous love and heaps of blessings which made the students feel excited, appreciated and loved throughout the celebration. The students were overwhelmed and enjoyed the day.
