Extra-curricular activities are an essential ingredient of the overall education process. As said, “Sound bodies possess sound minds.”
Sports give an opportunity to develop physical skills and to remain healthy and active, which is most important for our mind, body and spirit. Team sports are good for learning accountability, dedication, and leadership, among many other traits. Through sports, the children can develop mental and physical strength. They can inculcate discipline and can gain confidence which leads towards a self-control, self-esteem & honest generation.
For fulfilling this mission, Vydehi School of Excellence has taken an initiative to engage students of different ages in different sports activities by organizing VSE INTER SCHOOL SPORTS PREMIER LEAGUE – 2022 on 10th & 11th November, 2022. The two days Interschool Football & Basketball Tournament had involved many students from 40 schools all over Bengaluru. There were number of matches held under different categories for the participants. All the winning participants were encouraged with medals, mementos, trophies & certificates. This huge number of student involvement seems that this sport event has drawn a tremendous response from students of all these schools.
