Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research’ (INSPIRE) scheme is one of the flagship programmes of Department of Science & Technology (DST) by Government of India. The INSPIRE Awards – MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) aims to motivate students in the age group of 10-15 years, studying in classes 6 to 10. The objective of the scheme is to target one million original ideas/innovations rooted in science and societal applications to foster a culture of creativity and innovative thinking among school children.

We, at Vydehi always encourage our students to participate in various competitions which gives an opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity. We are proud to announce that two of our students, Sri Sowmya and Riddhi Singh of grade 8 & Iswari More of Grade 9 have been qualified for the first level of INSPIRE Awards and made us proud by showing their creative pursuit of science. They have presented the ideas/innovations based on the degree of novelty, social applicability, environmental implications & potential impact.
