Vydehi School of Excellence presented the Annual Day Celebration 2022-23 on January 3, 2023, for the students of preprimary and grade-1 based on the theme “Secret of happiness”.
The event commenced with the arrival of the Chief Guest, CEO of Vydehi School of Excellence, Mr. Harjeeth Kakkar. The very first performance was an invocation dance performed by both boys and girls, a fusion of myriad classical and traditional forms like Kathak, Mohiniyattam, and Bharatnatyam. During the Annual Day report, our Principal maam congratulated the students on the many accolades won at several District, State, and National levels throughout the year and presented to us the Mission and Vision of Vydehi School of Excellence.
Students’ performances in the butterfly dance with LED lights was truly spectacular followed by clown dance where the students attempted a goofy and energetic dance number. Then came amazing “Aquamarine” the fish dance followed by the grade 1 musical on the Rainbow Fish. The secret of Happiness unfolded with many Scenarios played out during the song by Alto-Tenor-Bass. All the performances brought happiness and laughter, but the Hindi Skit “Choka Laga Ke” left the audience rolling in laughter.
The energy, creativity, and enthusiasm with which even the tiny tots of Nursery students performed were truly infectious. Teddy buddy dance, Happiness Dance, RootyChaCha Dance, Joyous Jubilation Dance, Candid Colour Ball Dance, and the Disney Dreams Fashion Show all showcased a colourful extravaganza. Their hard work behind an effortless yet breath-taking performance was evident of all the dedication put into learning and practicing the dances, actions, songs, skits, and musicals.
Parents too were eager to join in on the Ram-Sam-Sam. The entire auditorium stood up and took part in the Ram-Sam-Sam challenge. Their dedication paid off in the form of an outstanding performances. Watching all dance, sing, and act with such confidence and joy has truly become the highlight of the year for all of us.
Preprimary and grade 1 proved with this amazing show that the sky is the limit when it comes to your talents and abilities. These memories will last a lifetime. Congratulations on a job well done and thank you for your participation.
