If you’re a true warrior, competition doesn’t scare you. It makes you better. -Andrew Whitworth
Competition can increase motivation, improve productivity and performance, and provide accountability and validation. Aside from preparing them for wins and losses later in their adult life, competitive activities help kids develop important skills like resilience, perseverance, and tenacity. They also learn how to take turns, encourage others, and develop empathy. When we compete to be our best today, our tomorrow will be better. Over time that adds up and prepares us for greater things to come. Students of Vydehi School of Excellence participated in Dhanak, an inter school competition organised by Delhi Public School on 17th August 2023. It was a huge assemblage of events like face painting, mask making, comic strip making, patch work tapestry making, sculpture making, design shark tank etc. Our students performed with zeal and enthusiasm. We are happy to announce the name of the winners:
Rithika Naveen, Sonakshi PC, Katlyn and Ishitha of class 6 secured the Second Position in Rangoli making competition. Kanav Ranjit Kangane of class 7 secured the First Position and Srisha Banerjee of class 8 secured the Second Position in Comic Capers. Aakriti Sreshtha, Hari Manognya and Aditi Singha of class 8 secured the Third Position in Fash it up competition. We won the rolling trophy for overall events.
