Exploring the Wonders of Science: A Child-to-Child Celebration on National Science Day
On February 28th, 2024, Vydehi School of Excellence lit up with the spirit of scientific inquiry and discovery as it celebrated National Science Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. This annual celebration marked a significant milestone in the school’s calendar, honoring the pioneering contributions of Indian physicist Sir C.V. Raman and igniting the passion for science among students and educators alike.
The corridors buzzed with excitement as students, adorned in lab coats and goggles, eagerly participated in a plethora of engaging activities designed to unravel the wonders of science.
National Science Day was not just about observing scientific marvels but also about actively engaging in hands-on exploration. Students of grade 6-12 took the reins, showcasing their passion for science through a series of captivating demonstrations that brought concepts like laser diffraction, interference of light, Van de Graaff generator, and induction coil experiments to life.
As the day ended, our hearts were full of gratitude for the boundless curiosity and creativity of our students. Through their experiments, demonstrations, and shared love for science, they reminded us that the pursuit of knowledge knows no bounds—and that the wonders of the universe are ours to explore, one discovery at a time.
