A Procession and Street Play on the Theme (Swatch Bharat) was carried out by the students at a special assembly organized by VSE on the occasion of Gandhi Jayanthi.Cleanliness Drive under “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” marked the celebrations of 145th birth anniversary of Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi at Vydehi School of Excellence.

The assembly started with paying reverences to Mahatma Gandhi. This was followed by taking the oath of non-violence where the students solemnly put their hands on their hearts and promised that they would avoid violence, keep their surrounding clean and follow Gandhi’s principles in their life.

There was a Procession, where all the school students along with the staff and faculty members participated holding banners insisting Cleanliness and its significance in the environment. There was also a Street Play by the Primary Students of Vydehi School of Excellence creating awareness among the public about keeping the surroundings clean.
