Vydehi School of Excellence celebrated its 2nd Annual Day Function on 23rd February 2013. This event was a music extravaganza as it witnessed many musical performances from the participants. Our eminent guests inaugurated the event by lighting the lamp. Then vkids and Vydehi school students sang invocation song and that lightened up the whole auditorium. Principal Mrs. Lally Mathew gave a warm and heartfelt speech in which she mentioned the commendable progress of students during last year. Chief Guest and the managing committee members distributed the prizes for all round proficiency. School teachers made sure that each and every child was appreciated on stage, for the best qualities they have.
The tiny tots of the school made a sterling display of talent by dancing to a Japanese song tune while Goan dance by Nursery children added to the fervour of the evening. The whole event was a wonderful fusion of eastern & western cultures through a harmonious blend of rhythm & dance.
The most riveting performance was the dance drama based on the history of Karnataka . The drama exuded opulence and grandeur of Hoysala dynasty, which took the audience to a different time zone. The program reached an expected joyful climax with the grand finale and become a sweet memory to cherish for everyone.
