Waste management is becoming a serious concern for many nations; we are producing waste at rates faster than we know what to do with it. Of course, the first step of waste management should be getting it off the roads .
So the students of the middle school of Vydehi School of Excellence came up with a very elegant solution.
With the trash lying around in the house , they build beautiful usable and decorative items and sold it to teachers and their fellow friends. The children displayed some brilliant work and also shared ideas on how some waste items can be reused again and again. Instead of going to the dumpsters those very bits and pieces will now brighten up someone’s living room or study room.
Judges were invited from the pre-primary wing and very patiently they went through every item , , placed marks on their judgment sheets and came up with 3 winners from each grade .
Class 5A won the activity as the class collected the maximum amount of money worth Rs. 273/-
