Vydehi School of Excellence participated in the CBSE Teachers Training Program in “Competency Building Workshop in Social Science- Class X” conducted at Delhi Public School, Bangalore South on 31st August and 1st September. The program was arranged by CBSE CoE Chennai under the guidance of Deputy Secretary Ms. Arunima Mazumdar.

The workshop was mentored by esteemed Resource Person Mrs. Mini Johny, Principal, Yashasvi Vidyaniketan, Bangalore and Mrs. Indravijayakumar, Principal, Green Valley Public School, Natrampalli. They guided the teachers about various teaching strategies to make social science teaching more effective using Multiple Intelligence.

Different guidelines for giving projects to students, Blooms’s Taxonomy of educational objectives and its relevance in understanding the CBSE board examination paper were discussed in the workshop. It was very informative and interactive workshop.
