Kum. Akshatha Viswanath of Vydehi School of Excellence- aged 10 yrs, has been learning Bharathanatyam since the age of 4, alongside pursuing her passion for classical music, Thalam and Indian martial art form Kalaripayattu. She had her Rangapravesha / Arangetram on Sep 2019 in Bangalore. She has won many Accolades and Awards in the art form. To name a few…,she was conferred the “Master Madan” award sponsored by Shri Sonu Nigam and honoured by the prestigious Suresh Wadkar’s Ajivasan Music Academy – Mumbai… Title winner of Hiddenidol 2018 and sponsorship to perform at the Dandayudhapani temple – Singapore… She was honored at the NatyaKala conference 2019 for the exemplary choreography of Nirikshana score. She is an integral part of the performing unit of Upadhye School of Dance and has been representing the School in various dance festivals.
