Delhi Public School held an Inter school Creative Writing contest throughout the month of August inviting entries from budding writers all over Bangalore. 23 of the best schools in Bangalore participated. Vydehians participated in the prestigious competition bringing home many prizes and accolades. Jaimie Mathangi of Grade 8 won the second prize in Grade 8-10 category for the topic “Thief of Hearts”. Gaurang Mittal of Grade 6 won the second prize for the mystery writing genre on the topic “Thief of Hearts” in Grade 5-7 category with Amal Vincent of Grade 6 winning the third prize. For the lyrical narration of secrets of Zynpagua, Soumiya Mahendran of Grade 5 won the prestigious first prize, Geethika of Grade 5 won the second prize and Dibyanshi Sahoo of Grade 5 bagged the third prize. An opportunity to showcase their creative and writing ability, the competition brought our budding writers to the forefront. We are proud of each and everyone of you!
