“Martial arts” originated as ancient combat techniques, it boosts the strength, agility, balance, power, reflexes, flexibility, and cardiovascular endurance. Setting out to increase the talents and abilities in multiple disciplines, Anvit Durge of Grade 2 from Vydehi School of Excellence participated in the 17th National Silambam competition held at Kanyakumari earlier this month. He won the Gold medal in double stick rotation event and Silver medal in stick fight event. He also participated in state level Pencak Silat (Indonesian martial arts) competition and won gold medal. He also won gold and silver medals in online Tae kwon do competitions. Hearty Congratulations to the champion of champions!
