“In a society that worships love, freedom, and beauty, dance is sacred. It is a prayer for the future, a remembrance of the past and a joyful exclamation of thanks for the present.” – Amelia Atwater
When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It’s to enjoy each step along the way. Dance is the hidden language of the soul, of the body. What you teach the children now will carry on with them wherever they go. Using inspirational competitions to motivate and uplift the students will give them the confidence they need to master any skill and dance is more than just a skill, it’s a passionate devotion.
To uplift this passion in the students, Heritage Foundation of Art and Culture has successfully organised a classical dance competition for children from Kindergarten to Grade 10 called ‘SANSKRUTI’. The program was conducted from 22 – 25 Jan 2021 and has received an overwhelming response and participation from 90 students across 11 cities. And VYDEHI SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE is very thrilled to announce that some of our talented students participated and outshined among other dancers. The great achievers of our school are:
4th Rank – JAYASHREE K. CHIDAMBARAM of Grade 6E
7th Rank – AVYUKTHA DINESH of Grade 6A
Congratulations to you both! Dancing is not easy. It is about precision and practice. You are building a great foundation and all your hard work and practice are paying off.
CONGRATULATIONS AVYUKTA & JEYASHREE
