Cryptics-2018 Bengaluru Grand Finale

Intelligent tactics and strength in numbers came into contest for the last compete in the Crytpics -2018 Computer Technology Challenge on Saturday, 1st December, 2018 at Vydehi School of Excellence, Bengaluru.

Semi-finals saw total 8 teams representing their Schools and cities (Mysuru, Mangaluru, Bengaluru) on stage, earning vital points to take the overall trophy and sealing the Cryptics 2018 this year.

The teams that competed in the finals are:
1) Gopalan National School – Bengaluru
2) Gopalan International School – Bengaluru
3) Delhi Public School – Bengaluru
4) Podar International School – Mysuru

At the end of the day, the overall ‘CRYPTICS -2018’ CHAMPIONSHIP trophy was won by Arun Radhakrishnan and Sohan Chakravarthy from Gopalan International School. The 2nd and 3rd position went to Tejashri and Dinesh Venkatesh from Podar International School, Mysuru and Mihit Aryan and S. Anbuselvan from Delhi Public School, Electronic City.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Mr. Nagaraj Ijari, Vice President and Global Head of TCS. He expressed his happiness at the high quality of quizzing displayed by the students. He said, such a platform ensured that talent was showcased and nurtured to learn more about technology and how to compete in this competitive world. He also graciously awarded the trophies and certificates to all the winning teams.

Mr. Harjeet Kakkar, CEO, Vydehi School of Excellence congratulated all the participants for their enthusiasm.
