Students of Grade 2H and 2K visited Honey Day Bee Farm to deepen the learning about their exhibition topic – “Honey-The Golden Syrup “.
We took our kids on an amazing journey to the Honey Day Bee Farm on Kanakapura Road. This was a small initiative to prepare them for the upcoming exhibition.
The farm was located in the interiors of an industrial belt on Kanakapura road. There we came to know that honey bee-the so called a dreaded insect is actually very friendly and peace loving. We couldn’t believe that we can actually hold the bee in our hands and it will not sting. Our children also tried the bee on their palm and it was an awesome experience of the bees buzzing on our palm. It was amazing to see the beehives and learn about the facts. They saw the beautiful hexagonal shape and realised the creativity in that little insect.
The trip turned out to be very fruitful, informative and worth remembering.
