Communication is a fundamental need for human beings to sustain in the world. Having good communication skills plays a major role in developing the overall personality or to make a person successful. Debate is one of the academic activities that give students a creative room to express what they feel. The knowledge that they gain through these activities is simply unparalleled. The debate club of Vydehi School of Excellence organized a competition to the debate club students on 19th and 26th of November. The topic of the competition was “Which Is More Effective – Residential School or Day School.” Out of the two rounds that were organized, one was an opinion round and the other, the rebuttal round. The participants exhibited great oratory skills armed with their arguments in a more emphatic way. It was over all an enthralling experience to all the participants.
