Debate Competition for grade 8-12

“It is better to debate a question without settling it than to settle a question without debating it.”

We believe in the holistic development of the students with a practical approach towards life. With the same vision, the school keeps on exposing the students to various brainstorming as well as thought provoking issues and ideas in the form of speech or writings. The school conducted a 3 round Inter House Debate competition for the students of Grade 8 to 12 on the topics ‘SPELL OF THE WEST-CULTURE & TRADITION FADING’, ‘PLAN FOR THE FUTURE V/S LIVE IN THE MOMENT’ and ‘BRAIN DRAIN-IS IT A ONE WAY TICKET?’ for the three rounds respectively. Students put up all their thoughts and discussions for the topics, talking for or against the motion, making the competition bring out curiosity and enthusiasm finally instilling information and awareness in the audience.

The winners for the competition are as follows:

First position – SANJITH NARAIN MATHUR of 11A

Second position – SIDDHARTH B of 12 A

Third Position – ELGINIA JENIEVA FISH of 11B
