“Dexter’s Laboratory” Parent & child activity.

To foster the creativity and innovation in our children, the Science Department had come up with model making competition -“Dexter’s Laboratory” which was organized on Saturday Nov 15th 2014.

It was planned to be a Parent-Child team activity, in which each team got their own components and assembled them in school. Parents actively took part in the competition along with their wards.
The Students made models of Volcanoes, Hydraulic Lift, and Eclipses of Moon.

Also there were some experiment -based presentations like Air Pressure; Environment-Friendly Batteries Using Potatoes, Lemons; Acid-based reactions using cabbage juice. Students explained the scientific principle on which their project is based upon.

There were experiments using water, air, magnets. It was a fun-filled event with lots of creativity.
The competition was judged by Mr. Deoras Prabhudharwadkar, Nuclear Research Scientist in a reputed organization.

Students had clear exposure to concepts with hands on experiments on various topics.
