“Toys are important, formative components in children’s lives. They entertain as well as teach, and they may do both with positive and negative consequences”.
Scholastic and co scholastic activities have equal importance in school programme for the all-round development of the child. Keeping this in view, we conducted a Fancy Dress Competition ‘GLADRAGS’ for the students of LKG on 25th of July ,2019. Theme was “My Favourite Toy”. The purpose of conducting the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the students by giving them an opportunity to speak and enhance their vocabulary skills. They dressed up as a Barbie Doll, Car, Building blocks, teddy bear, spider man, Chota bheem etc. It was overwhelming to see our little ones dressed up as different characters and speaking confidently…
