The importance of field trip in schools is axiomatic. For years, students have piled into yellow buses to visit a variety of cultural institutions, including art, natural history, science museums and historical sites.
In particular, enriching field trips contribute to the enhancement of a student’s knowledge about art, build stronger critical-thinking skills, exhibit increased historical empathy, display higher levels of tolerance, and have a greater taste for consuming art and culture.
Vydehi School of Excellence conducted a field trip to National Art Museum to give the students of Grade 6, a first-hand experience of art and culture on 23rd July.
