With the intent of bringing the real life, practical knowledge into class room experiences and school curriculum, Vydehi School of Excellence organized a field trip to the Whitefield Post Office on 14th September for the Nursery students. Through this visit it would help the students to acquire knowledge about what happens after a letter is posted in the letter box.

At the venue, the children were taken around and shown how letters are sorted and what else the post office provides. They were introduced to the Post Master or the Head of the Post Office and was told about his duties and responsibilities. The students were taken around to see how letters are collected, segregated, stamped and then stored in pigeon holes for the postmen to collect. The trip was full of fun and excitement and great learning about the post office in today’s time of e-mails.
