At Vydehi we believe that sports is an integral part of our holistic education as sports fosters competitive spirit, team work, discipline and above all sportsmanship. Vydehi School of Excellence organized Annual Sports meet “Finestra Sul Mondo” for Pre-Primary on 9th of December 2017.
Sports meet was open with the release of the balloons followed by the torch run by UKG students.
MARCH FOR A CAUSE
The thought driven March by the students of UKG depicted different causes. This was the major attraction of the event with five different floats……
First float – Save Animals: “Live with them love them”,
Second Float – Protect Our Environment “Live for today plant for tomorrow”,
Third Float – Save Water “One drop could save our thirsty world”,
Fourth Float – Global Warming “It’s so uncool”&
Fifth Float – Save Electricity “Energy saved is energy generated”
TRACK EVENTS
The children participated in a wide range of sports events, cheer on their teammates and learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship.
PE DRILL AND FORMATIONS
The tiny tots of Nursery mesmerized the audience by their dazzling movement in the formation “Let’s start the day with a smile”
As colours play an important part in our lives LKG students presented a spectacular formation based on the theme “Colours of life”. It was the brilliant performance of teamwork and togetherness.
FUEL & FITNESS
Yoga is an art of mind and body coordination & Aerobics is rhythmic beat clubbed with movements with proper steps. Student of UKG showcased two different and efficient fitness regimes “Yoga & Aerobics” simultaneously. It was a treat to our eyes as our little prodigies perform.
RYTHEMIC BUTTERFLY
Students of UKG surprised the audience with their creative excellence “Rhythmic Butterfly”. All our young stars have worked hard to make this event beautiful just like our theme “All Things Bright and Beautiful”
As it is said “Sports teaches us to win with humility and loose with grace”, The Annual Sports Day Pre-Primary 2017-18 concluded with the prize distribution ceremony.
