Football, a game that brutally tests the minds and bodies of even its strongest players, brings forth many lessons about the importance of perseverance, dedication and hard work. As a result, some of the best and most inspirational players and coaches get born.

In the words of Vince Lombardi, “Football is like life. It requires perseverance, self-denial, hard work, sacrifice, dedication, and respect for authority.” The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will. Winning always doesn’t matter, what matters the most is not losing your dignity till the end of the game. Losing a game is fine but losing your self-control by not playing fair is never appreciated in our school.

And hence we, the team of VYDEHI SCHOOL OF EXCELLENCE, are very proud to announce that our MIDDLE SCHOOL FOOTBALL TEAM has won the FAIR PLAY AWARD in TOURNAMENT REVUE organised by Delhi public school, Whitefield. 14 schools participated in the tournament and FAIR PLAY AWARD is awarded to the team which have the best record of playing as per the rules and playing fair even when they are competing hard. We are very proud of our team that despite of all the hardship they did not sacrifice their dignity.
