Vydehi School of Excellence organized various competitions under Club Culmination-1, for Grade1 on August 25, 2021after the successful completion of 1st portion of the curriculum. A combination of imagination, creativity, talent, physical fitness, speaking skills and an alert state of mind is what the competition was about.
The aim of the Speech Weavers club is to encourage students to express their ideas and knowledge in the form of language. Students spoke their heart out with great zeal and enthusiasm on the topic ‘My Favourite Toy’.
The objective of Math club competition was to bring creativity in children and to build better understanding on 3D shapes.
Music has the power to make us feel happy. The club organized a competition where the theme was to sing “Patriotic Songs” on the occasion of 75th Independence Day.
Yoga keeps our body healthy. The theme for Grade1 was to perform “Konasana and Trikonasana” which students presented with great effort and confidence.
Karate helps to improve our physical fitness and mental strength. The theme for Grade1 was “Chudanzuki – A Strongest Punch” where students presented different types of punches, kicks and defensive techniques learnt with balance and power.
Indian Dance has traditionally been an important part of religion and culture in India. Since August is the month of freedom, the topic given to learners was “JAI HIND” in which students participated with great enthusiasm and thrilled the audience.
The aim of Computer Coding club is to encourage students in the field of computers. The club organized a competition in Tux Paint for all the students. All Grade1 learners participated with great passion and confidence.
To enhance learner’s knowledge Virtual General Awareness competition on the topic ‘My Favourite Country in Asian Continent’ was organized for Grade1. This encouraged learners to explore and know about different countries in Asia which are blessed with natural beauty and diversity in all ways and forms.
Western Dance club conducted Virtual Dance Competition for Grade 1 learners. All the students participated with passion and showcased their talents with innovation. The competition was a visual feast.
Art and Craft activities help instil a sense of achievement and pride in children, boosting their self-confidence. The club organized a competition where the theme was to make Paper Flower Craft which helped learners to sharpen their creativity and thinking skills.
The students showed a lot of enthusiasm towards the competition. The judgement criterion was fulfilled effortlessly. We were amazed to see the performance of our little talents.
