Students of Grade 1F and 1N visited MG Active Farm school to deepen the learning about their exhibition topic – “SEED BALL – THROW IT AND GROW IT”.
MG Active Farm is one of the largest active Farm located in Maragondanahalli, KR Puram, Bangalore. They are working with a mission “To help learners, discover knowledge hands on”. They are working with a research based early childhood curriculum which encourages young children for planting and harvesting.
Children were demonstrated with many activities in Farm which includes seed to plant approach like plantation in greenhouses, process of germination and Eco friendly techniques for cultivation to make seed balls in easy way which is one of the most prominent technique to convert the waste lands in to vegetative lands.
Children were also shown the way of seed stock for future generations.
Children also actively participated in various activities conducted in the MG Active Farm School.
