On August 14th, Vydehi School of Excellence organized a speech competition titled “Patriotic
Pioneer Speech” for the students of Grade 3. The event aimed to commemorate India’s 78th Independence Day by encouraging young students to learn and salute the valor of our freedom fighters. The young participants, filled with enthusiasm and pride, took turns to speak about gallant national heroes such as Mahatma Gandhi, Bhagat Singh, Rani Lakshmibai, and Subhas Chandra Bose. Their speeches were not only well-researched but also delivered with great passion and clarity.
In addition to recounting the contributions of these freedom fighters, the students shared their personal interpretations of what freedom means to them. They spoke about the importance of freedom reflecting on how freedom impacts their daily lives. The ““Patriotic Pioneer Speech” competition was a remarkable success, fostering a sense of patriotism and awareness among the youth.
