On 14th August, Vydehi School of Excellence organized a creative and heartfelt Co-Curricular
Activity (CCA) competition for Grade 5 students, titled “Sandesh Letter Writing.” The
competition’s theme was to compose a sincere letter of thanks to our military personnel,
expressing gratitude for their unwavering service and dedication to the nation.
The competition was designed not only to hone the students’ writing skills but also to instill a
deep sense of respect and admiration for the brave soldiers who safeguard our country. Each
student was tasked with drafting a letter that conveyed their genuine appreciation for the
sacrifices and commitment of the armed forces.
The response from the students was overwhelming. They poured their hearts into their letters,
using their creativity and writing skills to express profound sentiments. The letters were filled
with gratitude, respect, and admiration for the military personnel, reflecting the student’s
understanding of the importance of the armed forces in maintaining the security and peace of the
nation.
The competition was judged by a panel of teachers, who were highly impressed by the quality
and sincerity of the letters. After careful consideration, the results were declared, and certificates
were awarded to the top three performers from each section. The winners were recognized for
their outstanding efforts in drafting letters that truly stood out in terms of content, emotion, and
creativity.
The top letters, selected for their excellence, will be sent to army officers as a token of
appreciation from the Vydehi School of Excellence students. This initiative provided the students
with a unique opportunity to connect with the military community and express their heartfelt
thanks in a meaningful way.
The “Sandesh Letter Writing” competition was not just an exercise in writing; it was a powerful
way to engage students in expressing their patriotism and respect for the armed forces. The event
was a great success, leaving both the participants and the organizers with a sense of pride and
accomplishment.
Kudos to all the winners!
