If there is one field of life which teaches us the most valuable lessons about perseverance, patience in fact what constitutes a perfect character, it is sports.

Annual Sports Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Vydehi School of Excellence, on 2nd & 3rd December, 2022. The school’s playground was overflowing with zeal, passion and excitement.

The programme began with the arrival of the Chief Guest, CEO of Vydehi School of Excellence, Mr. Harjeet Kakkar. The first major highlight of the day was the torch run, followed by the release of balloons to announce the sports day open. Our dearest Principal ma’am, Ms. Sinia Sajith, gave the annual sports report mentioning the achievements of our students in many fields like Karate, Cricket, Table tennis, Athletics etc. The students displayed a wide array of energetic and bouncy sports’ events ranging from the Band display, March Past, opening ceremony with Kalaripayattu dance, track events, Mass House drill, Hoola Hoops, etc. The best house shield, best marching shield and best in Hoola hoops shield were given to Indraprastha, Nalanda & Takshila houses respectively. The students mesmerized the audience with their energetic performances.

The proud parents were seen filled with happiness to see their child performing. There were some sports held for parents as well. Finally, the Sports Day ended with the National Anthem.
