GRADE 6D, 6E, 6F SPECIAL ASSEMBLY – 4th August, 2022

“A friend is one that knows you as you are, understands where you have been, accepts what you have become and still gently allows you to grow.” – William Shakespeare.

Friendship Day is that day when people all around the world celebrate one of the most beautiful relationships. Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of August which was first proposed in Paraguay. This day is celebrated to value the friendship with all the affection, love and enthusiasm without judging any caste, colour and creed. In this divine relationship only love, respect and humanity matter irrespective of all differences. A life without a good friend is merely empty and dull.

So, to celebrate this divine relationship the little stars of Grade 6 – D, E, F showcased their talents with all enthusiasm and happiness on 4th August 2022.

The program started with the welcome speech and followed by the prayer song performed by the students.

‘Friendship is the most precious gift of anyone’s life’. So, the students carried forward the programmed by their motivational thought of the day- ” Friends are the medicine for a wounded heart and vitamins for the hopeful soul.”

The program continued with the Pledge to embody the value and principal of honesty.

Next the news update has been given to the audience.

“A true friend accepts who you are, but also helps you become who you should be.”

So, the importance of Friendship Day is conveyed through the speech by the students.

Next the programme continued with a beautiful modern dance where school days are recollected, and students gave tribute to late singer KK.

After that friendship message is given through a Hindi talk show.

Next how the friendship day around all over the world is celebrated that has been shown through a classic skit dance followed by Kannada talk show added more importance to the friendship day celebration.

Parents and teachers can be our best friend that has been conveyed through English talk show by the students. After that a beautiful song is sung by the students to give faith that a friend can always count on you. Every beginning has an ending so with this thought the ending speech and vote of thanks have been given by the students.

Parents appreciated and motivated the efforts of the students who poured their heart out to make the assembly a grand success.

The assembly was concluded with our National Anthem.
