We are thrilled to announce that Grade 7E and 7F of Vydehi School of Excellence successfully hosted a spectacular assembly titled “THE DNA DANCE PARTY”-where science meets celebration, and curiosity meets creativity, on Friday, 14th June, 2024.

The event kicked off with a warm welcome speech that set the stage for our exciting journey into the world of DNA. It took a fascinating trip down memory lane, exploring the history of DNA discovery. From Mendel’s pioneering work on genetics to Watson and Crick’s identification of the double helix structure, we celebrated the milestones that have shaped our understanding of genetics. Our speakers highlighted the profound impact of DNA research across various fields.

The assembly took an energetic turn with a fantastic rap performance about DNA. The catchy lyrics and upbeat rhythm made learning about nucleotide, genes, and genetic coding fun and memorable. Our talented dancers then took the stage, transforming complex biological processes into beautiful choreography.

The assembly concluded with an exhibition showcasing various DNA models, interactive displays, and educational booths. It was a fantastic opportunity for hands-on learning and curiosity-driven exploration. Together, we celebrated the marvels of DNA and the incredible ways it shapes our world.
