The Indian Defence ensures national security against land-based external hostilities and other internal emergency cases such as natural disasters. The peace that our nation enjoys today is bestowed on us by the dedication and hard work of our Indian soldiers. The motto of the Indian army is ‘Seva Paramo Dharma’ and it means ‘Service is our prime duty’. The Indian Defence Forces encompass not just the Army but also the Indian Navy and the Indian Air Force. Together, they work tirelessly to protect our nation not just from external threats but also from natural disasters and other humanitarian crisis.
To celebrate their resilience, their compassion and their selflessness, students of grade 7 G and H have presented a special assembly on Wednesday, 09th August, 2023 –on the theme, “SALUTE TO OUR INDIAN DEFENCE- OUR PRIDE”. The show started with a prayer, pledge, news bulletin and the theme-based performances. The students presented a very touching and thoughtful skit- “Beyond the Battlefield”, through which they conveyed that defence is not just protecting our Nation’s border; it is about protecting our way of life. The assembly ended with the national anthem.
