On 3rd July, 2024 our students of Vydehi School of Excellence embarked on an enlightening journey through the “Eureka Excursion,” a CCA activity dedicated to exploring the diverse and fascinating details of different countries around the globe. The primary task was for students to draw a mind map focusing on one country, encapsulating its intricate details. This exercise was designed to foster creativity, critical thinking, and cultural awareness among the participants. Students highlighted key geographical features, including mountains, rivers, and climate zones. Detailed maps featured major states or regions and their significant cities. The mind maps vividly depicted cultural practices, traditional clothing, and unique customs.
The activity concluded with a presentation session where students shared their mind maps with their peers. This collaborative learning experience allowed students to gain new perspectives and appreciation for global diversity.
The “Eureka Excursion” was a resounding success, with students displaying remarkable creativity and thorough research in their mind maps. It provided an excellent platform for them to explore and celebrate cultural diversity. As a saying beautifully summed up, “Understanding the world’s cultures and traditions opens our minds and hearts to the beauty of our shared humanity.”
