As a dazzling display of eloquence and reverence, our school Vydehi School of Excellence recently hosted the CCA activity for the month of September where students of class 8 celebrated their heroes and inspirations in the “GALLANTRY AWARDS- Role Model Speech Competition.” The event was nothing short of awe-inspiring, as young minds took center stage to pay tribute to the giants who have left an indelible mark on their lives.

The competitors showcased an array of role models. They illustrated the importance of emulating qualities such as resilience, empathy, and innovation. The competition not only celebrated these heroes but also left the jury with a powerful reminder from Maya Angelou: “We all should know that diversity makes for a rich tapestry, and we must understand that all the threads of the tapestry are equal in value, no matter their color.”

The Competition was a testament to the boundless well of inspiration that exists within us all, and it ignited a collective fire to pursue our dreams with unwavering determination and compassion. Each student showcased their admiration for the gallantry award winners, proving that heroes are not mere idols but beacons of hope, guiding us towards our own greatness.
