India’s G20 presidency began on December 1, 2022, with the theme, “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth · One Family · One Future” which signifies the supreme strength of “unity in diversity.” The Delhi Government has decided to conduct various activities including a dedicated ‘G20’ day in all the schools to educate and sensitise children about the G20 and its significance under India’s presidency.
As part of this, various activities were conducted for Middle school students from Grade 6 to 8 like poster making, Essay writing and locating G20 countries in the world Map on Wednesday, the 07th of June, 2023.
Our Grade 8 students took part in CCA – Mapping the G20 countries in the World Map. The students brought their own World Map and marked the G20 countries in them using different colours to highlight different countries. The students enthusiastically took part in this activity and amazed us by doing a wonderful job.
Considering the time frame given, students who completed the map by locating the correct places were announced as winners of the activity and they were awarded.
