Health and Hygiene Workshop

“Cleanliness is the state of purity, clarity, and precision.” Suze Orman

On June 25, 2024, the middle school students and the faculty at Vydehi School of Excellence were enlightened by an exceptional seminar conducted by ARIVU (Indian Association of Dermatologists, Venereologists, and Leprologists). The seminar was conducted by Dr. Sishira. The workshop titled ‘Health and Hygiene ‘aimed to create awareness among the students.

Dr. Sishira captivated young minds by classifying the value of maintaining good health and hygiene as it is crucial for students as it directly impacts their academic performance, physical well-being, and overall development. One of the key aspects of maintaining good health is through proper nutrition, and staying hydrated by drinking an adequate amount of water each day is crucial for overall health. The workshop also focused on how cleanliness makes us attractive.

The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session, wherein our scholars shared their views and opinions about the value of being hygienic and how by prioritizing health and hygiene we can create a safe and supportive environment. Our Dr. Sishira encouraged the students by stating that good hygiene is the passport to the land of good health.

The workshop was not just an educational experience for our students, but it also demonstrated the multifaceted, holistic approach to living that can have profound and far-reaching impacts on our quality of life and the world around us.
