 15 August 1947, the date any Indian can hardly forget, the day of freedom, the day that brought hope, the day that made India independent seventy-five years ago is celebrated with the same hope, enthusiasm, happiness, and patriotism.

India’s freedom fighters had sacrificed their lives to bring freedom to our country, India. But their patriotism, their ideas had inspired many people of India to fight again and again. Their ideas and knowledge helped India to get freedom.

Independence Day has always been a colorful celebration in our school. So, keeping this in mind, we at, Vydehi School of Excellence, has conducted knowledge-based fun filled activities for Grade 6, 7 & 8, on the account of Independence Day celebrations on Thursday, 11th August.

Grade 6- Dress up as any national leader and speak few lines about them.

Grade 7- Singing any patriotic song (any language)/ playing a patriotic song with any musical instrument.

Grade 8 – Short speech on any freedom fighter.

Many students participated with much enthusiasm and did their activities with zeal and passion.

This knowledge-based fun filled activities helped the students to acquire knowledge about the history of India’s freedom fighters and their struggle.
