Kindergarten graduation day is the culmination of all the time, energy, and hard work that the little ones have put into gaining the confidence and knowledge to transition to grade 1. It gives them all a great chance to celebrate their achievements. The events of the day were inaugurated by the grandparents with the lighting of the lamp. The first event was the welcome dance, styled as a traditional rhythmic invocation of knowledge, wisdom, and consciousness, performed by students of UKG and LKG. Next was the much-awaited procession of the kindergraduates in their red and blue graduation gowns and hats, who came in with candles and sang to their hearts delight in a synchronous manner. When they sang together, it was not just their voices that were joined in harmony, the audience too resonated with the feeling.
The theatrical version of ‘Rorry the Quick-witted Rabbit’ was a spectacular delight for the LKG students, followed by Nursery’s electrifying yet cute dance pe chance on the song ‘Little Shine.’ Students from UKG, too, teamed up and described their experiences in the most eloquent manner. Finally, they received their trophy and gathered for the class photo with their classmates, teachers, headmistress, and principal. It was indeed an emotional moment for all.
