To provide the student council members with the leadership qualities & key responsibilities that increase their emotional intelligence, critical thinking skills, communication skills, interpersonal skills, and creativity, we at Vydehi School of Excellence had a workshop organized on leadership qualities in achieving the goals on Monday, 07th August, 2023, by Ms. Namrata Jha, an entrepreneurial leader with successful track record of managing and leading national and global programs to achieve organization mission and drive growth.

Ms. Namrata is an advisor for OE & Leadership Initiatives, The David & Lucile Packard Foundation, USA. The workshop started with a brain storming session where the students were asked to close the eyes and capture the picture of a leader who comes to their mind. The speaker discussed the qualities of a leader such as ownership, responsibility, different vision, self-less, etc. The spokesperson emphasized self-awareness, self-reflection, trust building & accountability in leaders. The workshop was a platform for the newly elected student leaders to know the varieties of leaderships, the qualities of a leader and so on and so forth. It was a very interactive, high-energy and a quite enriching session for the students.
