Grade 3 – Life Skill Workshop

On September 11th 2024, Vydehi School of Excellence organized an insightful life skill workshop on the topic of ‘Social Etiquette’ for its students. The workshop aimed at instilling essential social skills to enhance students’ personal and professional interactions.

The session covered several important aspects of social etiquette. Students were introduced to the significance of body language in communication. Respecting others’ personal space was emphasized as a key element of maintaining healthy interpersonal relationships. The importance of maintaining appropriate eye contact during conversations was also highlighted. The workshop also underscored the value of using polite words like “thank you,” “sorry,” “welcome,” and “please.” Students learned how these simple expressions can go a long way in building positive relationships and conveying respect. A segment of the workshop was dedicated to table manners, teaching students how to conduct themselves during meals in both formal and informal settings. Lastly, the importance of respecting others’ belongings and maintaining an environment of mutual respect was stressed.

Overall, the workshop was a great success and provided the students with valuable life skills that will benefit them in their personal and professional lives.
